The box is made from Kashmiri walnut wood by M. Ayub. This box seems impossible to open ...that is, until you know about the secret panel in front. Inside the box is divided into 2 compartments. The divider panel may be removed.

The box was crafted by M. Ayub, whose artistry has been featured in Family magazine. All of his creations are crafted entirely by hand, using no machinery. Before beginning work on the walnut wood, he first dries it for 2-3 years. He never uses artificial coloring in his art. He rubs each piece with agate stone before completing it with a wax polish.
