This tricky Japanese secret box incorporates a twist on the traditional himitsu-bako because you have to "Knock" it before you can open it.
The top of the box is finished with a "Koyosegi" marquetry and the sides are done in "ichimatsu" yosegi. The bottom panel of the box is made of walnut.
