This unique Japanese secret box features the less common 3-C Kikkou yosegi design. It also offers a new and different series of steps to open it than most other 10 step boxes. The first 6 steps open one side of the box, the next 3 steps open the other side, and the last step opens the secret compartment in the lid. Inside the lid, Yamanaka-san has hidden a 5 yen coin or "go-en", also known as the coin for good luck.
