The lid of this handcrafted ironwood box features a carved horse face. The horse is not attached to the lid, but is actually carved from the same piece of wood as the lid. A handy lip was carved under the side of the lid so that the box can easily be opened.

The box was handcrafted by the Seris Indians of the Sonoran desert of Mexico. Since each box is handcrafted, each will be unique in its details. Box details may vary slightly from the photos shown.
