Costa Rican puzzle boxes are individually handcrafted from Central American hardwoods such as rosewood, iron wood, rum rum, purple heart, cristobal, and guapinol. The beautiful materials used are crafted into these fun and eyecatching wooden puzzle boxes. The seams are easily visible and the pieces are loose and move with ease. These are much less challenging than Japanese puzzle boxes and are usually bought for the many designs that are available to suit the hobbies and interests of an individual. Since they are individually crafted, no two puzzle boxes are the same. The box you receive may be from different wood tones than those shown in the picture.
